Held in Sidmouth, Honiton & Lyme Regis

If you have always wanted to be able to draw or paint then this opportunity is perfect for you.  Equally suitable if you would like to develop your techniques and venture into professional art practice but need some extra guidance!

Supporting interests in Wildlife, Animal & Human Portrait, Landscape & Still Life subjects... you will learn how to create sensitive & impactful artworks.

These friendly classes are designed to give confidence and are suitable for complete beginners to more advanced levels.  I coach students on their individual areas of interest, offering support and advice with a mix of classical and contemporary methods.

You have freedom to work in a medium of your choice whether that be graphite, pastel, charcoal, coloured pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolour.

Learn valuable techniques to help you ‘see’ and transcribe the world around you more easily. Enabling you to draw & paint ‘free hand’ without the dependence of gridding and tracing. Use of proportion, shape & colour, values and modelling, will all be covered whilst working on your individually chosen subjects.

Each month we cover a new 'tool' through a talk or demonstration, broadening your knowledge and covering new ideas.

Groups are kept to a limited number, offering plenty of 1:1 assistance.

Robert Willcocks

I have drawn for many years but never really mastered the use of colour.Having joined Hannah's classes, however, I feel that I have come on in leaps and bounds. Hannah is so supportive and encouraging with reallyconstructive observations on how to improve my work and make it shine.Hannah encouraged me to move into painting with oils and I'm so pleasedthat she did. I love them! Thank you Hannah. "
