Date TBC - 3 Day Workshop 'Improve Your Human & Animal Portraits'
Held at the East Devon Art Academy, Sidmouth.
Designed to give confidence & teach you how to create sensitive and impactful portraits with my less is more approach. Students will work on their own chosen subjects in a medium of their choice in the mornings. There will be the option to work from a human life portrait model in the afternoons. Learn how to create naturalistic eyes, fur, hair & flesh tones along with sight techniques used by the Old Masters.
£180 for the 3 Days - to include model fees.

'Go Wild' - 2 Day Wildlife Art Workshop - Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd August '20
Held at: The School of Art & Wellbeing, Honiton EX14 9TT.
Go Big, Get Loose & Gain Confidence with your Wildlife Art! Produce larger wildlife works that have impact!
This is the third year I will be running this fun and unique workshop where you can learn techniques to help you strike a balance between expressive freedom and sensitivity... bringing your works to life!
Whilst working on your individual subjects we will cover backgrounds, how to start, scaling up free-hand, fur, realistic eyes & movement. Working in acrylic, oil & charcoal. Held at a creative studio which is nestled in a wonderful field and offers a great opportunity to loosen up and be inspired by nature. We will have some references for you to work from or bring along a clear image of your own that inspires you. Any animal possible from Safari, British wildlife or Underwater! *Materials included... along with tea, coffee & biscuits! Just bring along your apron & lunch. *Numbers will be limited to 9 in the group to allow for plenty of 1:1 attention.
Price: £160 to include all materials. This is recommended so you really can ‘go wild!’ using ample paint and resources! There will be a choice of support sizes. Sizes 25x25", 35x35” & 30x40”.
